For years elk skin has been known for it’s durability as well as its soft comfort. Now we’ve taken this immensely popular hide a step further and created an around town or work garment perfect for every occasion. It is fully lined with unique cotton fabric to give this leather vest a one of a kind look. Genuine elk antler toggles and a loop closure help keep the chill out and give the vest it’s very unique look. Small key pockets in the front finish the elkskin vest.

Another very popular version of this vest is the 2-Tone. Pick your favorite 2 colors and have the yoke made in one and the body in the other. A Palomino yoke with a Chocolate or Black body are two of the most chosen combinations.

Care & Cleaning of Elk and Deerskin Outerwear:
Deerskin and Elkskin are very soft and supple leathers. For our elk and deer skin garments, we recommend that the leather should be sprayed with a rain and stain shield made for suede or leather. This will protect it against water spotting and will help it resist soiling. When a leather garment becomes soiled overall, it should be professionally dry cleaned by someone specializing in leather and/or furs.

This elkskin vest runs quite generous. I almost always downsize one size (46 to a 44 etc).

If you need to order a size larger than 48 or longer length in the body, additional charges will apply.
